High School Pilot Pathway
The High School Pilot Pathway gives students a structured path toward earning their Private Pilot Certificate. Students build aviation knowledge through ground school, career opportunities, and begin flight training, with the goal of earning their pilot license before graduation.
What the Program Offers
FREE Weekly Ground School
Students receive FREE structured ground-school instruction from a Certified Flight Instructor, following a syllabus with assigned reading and lessons covering the knowledge needed to become a safe and prepared pilot.
FAA Written Exam Preparation
The program emphasizes ground school to help students pass the FAA Knowledge Exam early, reducing overall training costs and helping students qualify for additional aviation scholarship opportunities.
A Path to the Private Pilot Certificate
Students follow a clear, structured training pathway from ground school and their first flight through solo, cross-country training, and checkride preparation, with the goal of earning their certificate before graduation.
Scholarship Guidance & Opportunities
We’ll guide students through the scholarship process, help identify available aviation scholarships, and provide the ground-school preparation needed to help students pursue additional funding opportunities for flight training.
Understanding the True Cost of Flight Training
Flight training costs can vary significantly, and the lowest advertised price doesn’t always reflect the true cost of earning your license.
Some schools advertise FAA minimum flight hours while leaving out ground instruction, pre/post-flight briefings, supplies, testing, and additional training hours.
Our goal is to be fully transparent so students and families understand the realistic costs from the beginning.
We also focus on helping students find and apply for available aviation scholarships, potentially saving families thousands in flight-training costs. Programs such as AOPA offer flight-training scholarships of up to $12,000 for eligible high school students pursuing aviation.
